New Patient Benefit Program Covers Up to 20% of Dexcom G7 Costs

The new Dexcom G7 Patient Benefit Program helps make the Dexcom G7 CGM System more accessible and affordable. The program will cover up to 20% of the cost* of Dexcom G7 sensors when presented at the pharmacy. Healthcare providers can provide Dexcom G7 users with printed or digital certificates that will help to reduce or eliminate their out-of-pocket costs.

The Dexcom G7 Patient Benefit Program allows anyone with a valid Dexcom G7 prescription and existing pay direct private drug plans to have up to 20% of their sensor costs covered.

 

For example, if an individual’s private insurance covers 80% of the cost of Dexcom G7 sensors, the Dexcom G7 Patient Benefit Program covers the remaining 20%, and the individual would not have to pay any additional amounts out of pocket.

 

To participate in the Dexcom G7 Patient Benefit Program, individuals can download a free program certificate online or request a printed copy from their healthcare provider.

Printed copies of the certificates will be distributed to healthcare providers by the local Dexcom representative, or may be requested by calling Dexcom Canada toll-free at 1-844-536-8388.

 

The program only applies with direct billing, and the certificate must be presented at the pharmacy and processed at purchase. A valid Dexcom G7 prescription must be provided along with the certificate to ensure proper coordination of benefits with existing pay direct private drug plans.

 

Applying the Dexcom G7 Patient Benefit Program to a sensor purchase is simple.

 

If the individual has a pay direct private drug plan, select ClaimSecure as the drug plan and enter the program certificate as the last payor.

 

If the individual does not have drug coverage or a pay direct private plan, enter ClaimSecure as the Primary Plan.
